Greetings!

Hello everyone!

Well, I told myself I would never do this but I've started a web log. We've had a few people ask about the status of the house we're building so I thought a blog would help to answer any questions people may have.

First, the basics:

• We live in Milk River, AB which is 50 minutes south of Lethbridge and 10 km north of the Canada/US border.

• This summer we bought a lot in the NE section of Milk River.

• Rebecca Wilde-Toly is acting as the General Contractor with a lot of input from Scott Tollestrup, Wayne & Cala-Lee Toly, and Robert & LaDeen Wilde.

• The basement was dug by Hughson Trucking in the Fall of 2007.

• The footings were created by Rebecca and Scott and poured by Southwest Concrete.

• Becky built the basement and garage walls using Arxx Insulated Concrete Forms.

• The walls were poured on February 7th with help from Byron and Kathleen Brooks, Scott Tollestrup, and Robert Wilde. The concrete was supplied by Southwest Concrete based in Magrath, AB.
