Moved In!

Well, these pictures confirmed to me that we still have a long way to go but we're in!

Byron Rocks!

We got mostly moved yesterday because Becky's brother Byron came with his enclosed trailer and helped us move. Thanks so much Byron! Also, thanks Sheila for the Chili and homemade bread. No pictures because the house is a mess and we have no internet there.

Moving in this Saturday (For Real!)

Some people had expressed a willingness to help us move in. I just wanted to let you know that we would really appreciate anyone's help this Saturday. Don't worry, you won't show up and we'll be sitting on the couch with nothing packed! Also, there are no pianos or heavy things like that; there are some stairs, however :-). Just let us know if you can make it and thanks in advance.

One of the Last Major Tasks Partially Done

The plumbers came on Friday and got all of the water hooked up and running. We have hot water,  toilets, garbage disposal, ice, and showers.

Becky also worked on the hardwood for the front entrance on hallway today. Fun!

Who Knew Melamine Could Look So Good?

The countertops were installed this afternoon and we're really happy with them. The granite is called "Ubatuba" from Brazil.

Countertop Tomorrow

We worked on getting the kitchen all shored up for the countertop that is supposed to come tomorrow.

Becky also did a lot of work on the master bedroom shower that is coming along nicely. She also threw me a bone by taking a picture of the trim that I painted.

Optimism.

So we put up our Christmas tree at the new house. We worked on getting the cabinets ready for the counter top that we hope will arrive this week. Beck also put up the range hood. There will be a tiled backsplash going all the way up and around the edge of the counter.

We also received our lights from Kalispell Home Depot (they are excellent, Lethbridge, not so much) and put them up on the landings. We also put up some of the curtains in our bedroom.

Crawl Space Opulence

We got the vanity partially set up in the kids' bathroom and I really like how it looks. Becky also did the final clean-up on the tile in there. Scott Tollestrup has also been doing an excellent job putting in our trim. The area you see Beth in is the crawl space between her and Ethan's rooms.

Carpet is Done.

Glorious Carpet!

Carpet was supposed to come on Wednesday but instead it came today! They grey colour goes into the kids' rooms. The other carpet goes on the stairs, our room, and the living room. The dudes are going to work all night to get it installed. The underlay is soft…

Getting Closer(?)

Well, it seems like we've been working a lot but when I went to take pictures there didn't seem to be much to record. Becky got the back entrance tiled and grouted. We also installed the washer and dryer. Beck also hooked up the heated floor for our kitchen and we tried it out last night. It's pretty sweet.

I've been painting doors and we're going to work on trim today. Something exciting is happening on Wednesday but you'll have to wait and see.
