Yeah, the door frame in the basement was about 1/2" short which is a pain when it's concrete. I actually did some of the chiseling too. There is also a couple of pictures of our new furnaces and air exchange system. You can also see that our front door is almost 90 percent complete.

Cured Concrete and Windows
The concrete will support our weight so we decided to put in the basement windows. They are a bit dirty from sitting for a few months. You can also see that our house number is a beacon to pot smokers everywhere! 4:20
I just noticed Beth looks a bit demonic in that picture!

Concrete and Sabey Boyz
13 June 2008
Excellent!
Not much has been going on here for the last little bit. Becky started a new job at UFA and its been raining like crazy here.
Tim and Bruce from Sabey Boyz Construction came and worked at the house for two days and got things prepped for concrete. They'll be coming back on Monday to pour and finish the concrete in the basement and garage.
I'm pretty excited about the garage being poured because it means we can move some of our clutter into it to prepare our current house for sale. I'm also excited about the prospect of a massive purge of the junk in our current house that stresses me out daily. A woman I work with rented a dumpster the last time she moved and I think that sounds like a good idea.
