Siding

My parents were nice enough to come over today and help Becky put up some siding. I think it turned out quite well. Thanks Mom and Dad, you're the greatest! The weird thing is that the colour I see it as differs from what you see. I'm colour blind and it can be kind of a pain.

Speaking of colour blind, Ethan built a new bed for "Cobalt" the cat.

Still Alive!

Yeah, I know it's been a while but after the framing things really slow down. Also the weather here has been poor. Anyway, Becky has most of the facia and soffit up and she built a chimney. The big news is that she cleaned up the basement and it is mostly dry. Compare that to the pictures a couple of months ago when the basement was filled with snow and it looked like it would never be clear.

The HVAC people were in this week and put in all of the ducting for the furnace and AC. I'll try to get some photos of that this weekend.

Cozy House

As you can see in the first picture Becky has got a bunch of the soffit up on the dormers. She has also been a busy bee and wrapping up our house. We are also trying to get ready for the roofers to come next week. Also, we finally got a plumber so we're pretty stoked about that.

The cat has become a permanent resident and our neighbours the Barils have returned from Mexico.

Soffits!

Sorry, I've been pretty neglectful lately. Here are some pictures of the soffits (eaves) and facia. Scott is helping Becky with this and it's going well. Also, Becky got a bunch more of the housewrap up. I also took a picture of the two east facing windows that were difficult to put in.

Beth Day

Today was Beth's birthday and also opening night of "The Sound of Music". Everyone in the play did very well and it was enjoyable to watch. The director had everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to Beth after the performance.
